Fit
Will it fit my cane?
TrackMount comes in two sizes: the standard TrackMount fits 7/8" shafts, and the TrackMount XL fits 1" shafts. Measure just below the handle, where the TrackMount sits. Not sure? Print the free sizing guide on my Sizing Guide page.
Does it work on folding, adjustable, and quad canes?
Yes, as long as the shaft is 7/8" or 1" just below the handle. Folding canes still fold with it on. If you'd rather, you can unscrew it, fold the cane, and screw it back on when you're ready to use it.
Will it fit a walker, rollator, or crutch?
If the tube is round and 7/8" or 1" in diameter, yes. It won't fit tubes that are square, or a different size.
Can I move it to another cane?
Yes. Unthread the Main Cap, slide it off, and install it on any cane with the same diameter.
Trackers
Which trackers fit?
AirTag, AirTag 2, Tile Sticker, Moto Tag, and Moto Tag 2.
Can I still hear it ring?
Yes. The Perforated Cap has holes that let your tracker's chime come through clearly.
Does it work with Android phones?
Yes. Moto Tag and Tile Sticker work with Android. AirTag works with iPhone.
Is the tracker included?
No. Trackers and canes are sold separately.
Everyday use
Do I need tools to install it?
No. Installation takes about a minute. See the Installation page for step-by-step instructions and a video.
Will it rattle?
No. After user feedback every kit now includes an O-ring that cushions your tracker so it stays quiet while you walk.
Can it get wet?
Because of how the TrackMount sits on the cane, rain generally won't get inside the tracker compartment. If a little does, it's no more than your tracker is built to handle.
Will it scratch my cane?
TrackMount is a mechanical hold that grips your cane tightly. With repeated use, or if it's pushed up or down while the Main Cap is tightened, it may wear some paint or peel a cane wrap. To avoid marks, loosen the Main Cap before repositioning it.
